DevOps Engineer

Incentive Targeting is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented DevOps Engineer who likes interacting with end-users, is driven to solving their problems and enjoys working with the latest web technologies, big-data query/storage solutions and cloud services. Team members are expected to wear multiple hats and be willing to work with all of the technologies that are used to implement our platform. Below is a list that highlights the responsibilities for this position.
  • Act as primary contact and front-line support for all technical and operational issues.
  • Enhance and maintain the deployment code base used to manage our cloud-hosted production and staging environments (i.e. manage resources hosted by AWS, Heroku and MongoLabs).
  • Coordinate and execute the technical integration steps for social buying programs run by Incentive Targeting.
  • Debug, diagnose and fix issues discovered throughout the code base.
  • Implement and support a continuous integration solution which will include code coverage reports and alerts.
  • Aid the Development team with release preparations including testing of pre-release code, pushing code to staging and production environments, etc.

We are looking for an engineer who can act as a liaison with our end-users, customers and partners helping them derive the greatest value and satisfaction from their Incentive Targeting experience, while supporting the rest of the Engineering team in their efforts to create a market-leading analytics and offer management platform.

Requirements
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Has used some of the following technologies: Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX, SQL

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Frameworks: RSpec, Cucumber
  • Technologies: MySQL, Redis, Beanstalkd, Solr (Tomcat), MongoDB, Subversion, Git
  • Platforms: AWS, Heroku

 

Sales and Marketing Interns

Incentive Targeting offers a comprehensive Internship Program to qualified students who seek hands-on experience in sales and marketing in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. 

 

Incentive Targeting is looking for entrepreneurial, self-motivated students with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and successfully. The Sales and Marketing Intern will report directly to the VP of Sales, and will support the entire sales team. Training and mentoring will be provided throughout the internship.

 

We offer our Internship Program each semester on a year-round basis (Spring, Summer and Fall). It provides experience in:   

  • Behavioral analytics
  • Quantitative marketing
  • The grocery retail industry
  • Direct sales
  • Working in a funded startup.

Successful candidates will possess:

  1. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  2. An interest in the consumer packaged goods industry.
  3. Extreme attention to deadlines and details.
  4. Comfort analyzing data and producing professional work in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  6. Technical competence with Web and Microsoft Office applications
  7. The ability to work independently in the context of a team environment.

Internships may continue across multiple semesters and Incentive Targeting prefers to make full-time hires from its current interns. Previous internship experience is suggested in the areas of sales, marketing, or finance. This is a paid internship and is eligible for school credit. This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week.
